Jurgen Moltmann

Jurgen Moltmann A Broad Place: An Autobiography Trans. by Margaret Kohl. (Fortress Press, 2007) 400pp.

Just found out that Moltmann's autobiography is being relased by Fortress press this November 1st. This should be a great read for anyone interested in Moltmann's life and its relation to the developement of his theology. Moltmann, of course, is famous for many works, most notably his first "Trilogy," Theology of Hope (which Adam and I read this summer) Church in the Power of the Spirit and especially The Crucified God, though he has many other great books, such as his work on the Trinity in Trinity and the Kingdom or on creation and ecological concerns, and a plethora of related topics in God in Creation, and he recently won (in 2000) the Grawemeyer Award for his 1996 release The Coming of God: Christian Eschatology. I believe he is still currently teaching, and is Emeritus Professor of Systematic Theology in the Protestant Faculty at the University of Tubingen (sorry about no umlows, a testament to my low electronic skills).
